Your map.i3d must correctly point to the alfalfa.xml file wherever it is placed in your map folder
Alfalfa is harvestable every other month. If you want alfalfa harvestable every month, change minHarvestingGrowthState to 3 in map_fruitTypes.xml or change all add="1" to add"2" in growth.xml
Mowing alfalfa produces grass. Adding alfalfa windrows, bales etc requires more intensive map changes and specialized equipment to handle. For my style of play, grass bales are fine and work with all existing game functionality, animals, etc.
HUD image is in alfalfa folder - you must reference correctly via <image hud="map/foliage/alfalfa/hud_alfalfa.dds" /> in the fillTypes.xml of your map

if the map supports alfafa like UMRV... will these just replace the textures and leave the alfalfa files alone? would love to replace the alfalfa on umrv

thank you. already did it. i also went and updated the bale textures that were being used. i pulled that from stoney valley since it uses these textures

Do you need a powerful PC to run? Will these effect FPS compared to regular game grass textures? Theses look amazing! Great work!
Should not, I tested these for optimization and made sure they didn't cause and noticeable performance drag. I have a medium-grade PC but run maxxed settings, so every FPS is important to me
